Portrait Competition II, Entrant #12, Ryan Cigana, Sydney, Australia

Ryan D Cigana has this to say of his photo titled 'an evening' : This photo features myself wearing an out fit in which every item is made for me, excluding silk stockings and braces by Albert Thurston. I am seen in a New Zealand superfine 2 piece window pane check suit, over a Tom Ford double height collar MTM shirt, Edward Green Edinburgh Opera Pumps with silk bow made for E. Green by Drakes of London. The neckwear is a Collar Ribbon with a Gold and Black stone stud.

Ryan is an often misunderstood individual, his aristocratic air masks his sensitive soul. Maintaining friendships with those with Knighthoods and those gathered at Vinnies Night Patrol is something he does so well. Charm is a quality he most distrusts. He has many passions and only one hate 'chatterers'. Ryan is often found quoting the Latin Poet Terence, "Homo Sum. Humani nil a me alienum putt" (I am Human. In my view, nothing that is human should be indifferent to me). A suitable narration of an elegant but complex Sydney character. He does not know what he wants to do when he grows up...
